I remember Bougair made the decision to buy a Twin Otter, a la the successful machines in Talair. They engaged a consultant - ooops, should be Consultant (with a Capital C), cashed him up and sent him around the world to find a suitable aircarft - but forgot to give my a photo of a Twotter.
And that's how they ended up with a Pievan. I don't think I ever saw it with the all the bits attached and operating. It seemed to be always missing an engine or undercarriage. To keep the staff occupied during one of it's long term periods not flying, they painted it - with house paint and paint brushes.
Geeze Sharpie, I didn't realise they were 10 kts slower than a Twotter?? Have many tail strikes from seagulls or Islanders?
