More than any other helo I've flown, the TwinStar is support dependent-a good mechanic and available parts and it's not bad. 2 seperate fuel systems, no supply tank to share contamination. Adequate power up to about 6000 ft and fair single engine above etl. Not especially fast or quiet compared to AS350. I think they've got most of the killer kinks out of the mechanicals.
Hardest landing aircraft I've ever flown.
