When I was at highschool(1980) there was a book published called Helicopter Rescue. In it was some great stories and photos of the air sea rescues around England,Scotland and Wales. I found a copy in a second hand bookstore in 1993, if you can get a copy, it has a lot of what youre looking for. Its a good read. Author is John Chartres, Published by Ian Allan Ltd Surrey 1980.
