I'm surprised you don't know why your earlier post was removed but, since you say you don't, I must believe you:
- PPRuNe rules don't allow personal attacks on named people, or people who can easily be identified from information given.
- I didn't delete your earlier thread, but moved it to Admin so that the powers that be could decide what action, if any, should be taken. Decisions of that sort are made very quickly, and the thread is either returned to the forum or permanently removed.
- Admin decided, for pretty obvious reasons, that it should be permanently removed.
- It's all very well for you to make personal attacks anonymously, but Danny & Co pick up the bill if the person attacked takes legal action. They might win if what is said is true - but why should they have to spend/risk money on lawyers fees in a dispute which has nothing to do with them?
- A similar post, attacking this guy, appeared a few months ago. That was deleted by Admin following letters from his solicitors. Again, why should PPRuNe risk being sued.
Suggestion!
If you are prepared:
to give your full name and address
to accept full responsibility for what you post
to allow PPRuNe Admin give your details to the man's lawyers if requested to do so
AND
undertake to pay all PPRuNe's legal fees Admin might take a different view, I don't know. It's not their battle so they may not want the hassle.
If you feel strongly, I suggest you email Admin and suggest it.
BTW, the CAA/Police would be highly unlikely to take action when there is clearly a civil dispute between the parties.
I can't help noticing that your posts contain an awful lot of venom about this guy. It's surprising you feel quite so strongly about an issue if you're not personally involved.
If you are involved in some way, and have a good case, then deal with it properly via the CAA or through the courts instead of using PPRuNe to attack him.
Your topic has now been moved to Admin so that a decision can be made by the Administrators.
If they're happy with it, it will reappear on Rotorheads in a few hours, and I'll willingly apologise for inconveniencing (and probably irritating) you.
