Always, along with off/on chocks time (maybe rounded to nearest 5 minutes or 1/10 hour), if you are flying when it gets dark/light, note when you think it changes- that will do. It's nothing official, just estimate when you declare 'day' or 'night'. Round to 5 minutes or 1/10 hour if you wish.
