The returning LCA pax flew into LGW and were coached back to BRS, apparently as with most airlines the delay times are chox to chox then the coach journey was not included in the delay time making it just under 24hrs, nice way of avoiding awkward insurance claims but there we go, it was a 767 that flew them back but i believe it was a larger type than what is used here on fridays for PMI, therefore may have had problems landing in BRS which i find hard to believe as it would be empty on fuel therefore a good 14 tonnes lighter than when it took off! and weve seen large aircraft land in here before, remember the YYZ service a few years back?
The fact still remains as MV said that it was a hell of a delay for TUI to take, MYT and FCA seem to be able to find replacement a/c quite easily, just look at the tech probs FCA have had lately, I think they did really well to rescue their programme, they had 4 visiting 757s in a week and managed to minimise delays pretty well.
Ah well as the old saying goes S**t happens!

Thanks for the CO info CMR, 70% doesn\'t sound to bad to me!
