Would that be the union that gave away the loyaly bonus (worth upto 15% anually) for FOs, agreed to £1100pa deductions for crew food (which was then reduced in quantity by 50%, constituting theft of £550), agreed to a reduction in annual leave of 7 days and was run by abunch of company appologists who, coincidentally, recieved a 20% pay rise just before the latest (suspicious) ballot? BALPA will acheive nothing in EZY, they are in my opinion utterly corrupt. I hope JD can turn things around and alter my perceptions.

You also missed the point that many have made that while you may be happy in your base, many others are being screwed. The LGW bus drivers are the darlings of the fleet, while the LTN 73 crews prop the company up. Such it has always been, and so it shall continue.

The only way that T&Cs will improve is the hard way, by people being brave enough to leave. There are plenty of jobs out there, but the mgmt foster a fear of resignation, spreading the myth that no-one else is recruiting. Well, they are, and there are alternatives. EZY have shown for the last 6 years that they are totally disinterested in the well being of their operational staff (cc, engineers and pilots alike). The unions have acheived little. The only thing they will ever understand is empty crew rooms.
