Monarch were great when i joined 10 years ago. Very good bunch to fly and socialise with. Longhaul trips were like holidays, ranging from 3 to 10 days. Interesting network on the 757 with various routes worldwide. Nice aircraft to fly. Things have changed now i believe, with the 330 doing most longhaul. Moved too early i think, joined Virgin, generally good bunch to fly and socialise with. After 3 years found the limited routes on 744 boring. Add commuting to the equation and it was time to call it a day due to being continually tired. I think i would have enjoyed the 340 network better. Overseas with EK now. Rgds.
