I have used 3W a few times this year with a usual ticket price of £119. Now the price on that route, two weeks in advance, is £165.
I can think of three different reasons why an airline might hike the price like this:
A. The competition has done likewise so the airline can compete with impunity.
B. The airline concerned is greedy.
C. The airline has a short term cash flow, has the creditors on its back and is panicking.
Notwithstanding the above I have found the service excellent and punctual and wish them luck.
