"Meanwhile the newly arriving aircraft will see 160 extra pilots added"
What this really means is that the airlines 'needs' 160 pilots. With a similar massive expansion at RYR, (about 20 extra a/c over the next 10 months), and BA saying they are short, and..and.. Just where are these pilots coming from? And how are they all going to be trained in time? Not to mention the up- grade training.
Interesting times ahead, especailly as RYR & ej go head to head for crews at LTN/STN, LPL, GLA/PIK, and it being easy to commute to GRO & CIA or any RYR base. The numbers don't seem to add up.
