Yes, there are differences. Although, for the most part, non-Singaporeans are hired on local (Singaporean) terms. I do believe that as a non-Singaporean cadet, you will be required to pay back a fraction more than what Singaporeans pay. But the fact remains that SIA does spend more on non-Singaporeans in that they have to fly you to Singapore, reimburse you for all your employment pass fees, etc. Still an excellent deal. You'll still eventually fly a 777 or 744.
