Uplink has all the valid questions.EK sells its deal ideally to "families",housing schooling etc,etc,for which you are one.
The deal whilst once very good is looking a little tarnished,due to the extraordinary growth of DXB and inflation,which your pay has not matched,especially as an FO.The cost of living has soared and whilst perhaps for many the EK deal is attractive financially I would suggest for Europeans,Aus,NZ,N.Americans and Scandis it is not,this is why these people are now leaving.
The "dollars and cents" are way out of comparison and perhaps that fact is now rather belatedly for many being addressed.
Ask yourself,if the command came next week would you stay?
So is it command time you want or the the money?(see above).
It will come,but the problem is when? And once you have it,will you still be wanting to go to Ryannair to escape the lifestyle issues in DXB?
