I had a further read on forums and I realise now that flying for nothing won't do any good to the industry - and i certainly don't support the movement.
I do wish to fly big boys toys some day but at the same time I do realise it's not an easy thing. What I meant by working for nothing is that IF NECESSARY I will be very happy to participate myself in the industry with next to no pay as long as I have a stable income from another job. I just get the impression that that wouldn't be so bad at least until I get my first 500hr or so.
And, as many of you guys are I am BROKE AS. But to me $ is just a need of life where flying is a passion of life. Who wouldn't want to make a living going fishin'?!
I'm sorry if I stirred a sense of anger amongst you guys, I really am.
I'll definately try Kununurra as suggested after visiting a few more places in QLD. Any other comments/suggestions?
