Not sure where you're coming from, RSS, but for my money you're out by miles.
- A statement is only slanderous or libellous if it is untrue. The definition of slander is "A false defamation (expressed in spoken words, signs, or gestures) which injures the character or reputation of the person defamed".
- The fact that such a statement may be made in open Court changes nothing, other than the fact that it is made under oath and would therefore constitute perjury if it were untrue.
With respect, what on Earth has "what and see" got to do with it? Wait and see if it's a success? Great for UK a/c employment and maybe good for UK Plc, but to see the success of Air Tigra as the "test" of the sentiment and views expressed here is to totally miss the point.
