......News that the CTSB plans to test the rudders emerged last week in an interim report on its investigation into why a Canadian owned Airbus A310 lost its composite rudder in flight from Cuba to Canada on 6 March.......
The CTSB found that two of the six composite lugs that held the A310īs composite tail fin onto the fuselage had "delamination damage". The agency hopes that its series of tests will reveal whether the delamination caused the rudder to fall off or vice versa....
