We were devastated when we heard about Eddie and I know there'll always be a big void in our lives without him. The only thing I can say is that I can't think about him without smiling - and to me that says so much about the bloke and how much he'll be missed. The world will be a little less fun without him and we'll really miss him.

A fond memory of mine from our youth was Eddie trying to argue that his brand new, bright red, leather patent shoes were cool and trendy. The subsequent brawl with Manchester bouncers led to the Manager shouting "find me the b*****d with the red shoes on". Eddie - hope you've clicked your little heels together and found your way home.
