The Association of licensed engineers,see
www.alae.co.uk,have raised the issue with the CAA, as have individuals(see CAA newsletters); and the CAA reply is always,that what other NAA'S IN JAA do is not their concern.
If you see the reply to beaurocracy check on an earlier posting(unfortunately the only reply) you will see that things are pretty much as we all assumed.
