Talking THANK YOU!!!

Thanks guys - you are all fantastic! This website has given me so much support over the years and it really helps when heading into each interview!

And yes...thats what I did today. I had my final interview for EK and boy was I nervous before I went in

Last night I sat down with a list of possible questions in front of me, trying to think back over my employment for interesting examples of customer service etc. My mind was a blank and all I thought was oh my god, how am I gonna get through this

I gave up after a while and said...all I can do is my best. So I went to bed (tried to get some sleep - which I did cos I bought new satin bed sheets yesterday hehe) and woke up this morning ready to go into battle!

As I driving to my interview, it crossed my mind that it was Friday the 13th and it was cold and rainy! Was this truely a bad luck day?? No of course not - because all of a sudden across the sky shone a beautiful rainbow, followed by the glorious sunshine! Thank God cos I didn't want to get wet walking to the hotel hehe

I got there a little early as always. I ran to and from the toilet a few times just making sure I was ready and didn't have mascara all over my face or lipstick on my teeth..oh and to pee cos my nerves were seriously getting the better of me haha! Then Amilita came to take me in for questioning

I sat down in a small room with the recruiters, shook hands, sat up straight and smiled. Amilita was fantastic. She made me feel really comfortable and the interview was so relaxed it actually felt like a discussion. Rhanda ( is that her name ) wrote down everything as we spoke.

I got asked various questions, firstly about my previous flying job - why I left? did I enjoy it? Then I was asked questions about a time I have received a complaint from a customer against me, or from a fellow work colleague ( help me someone please!!), and then came the nicer questions...examples of a time when I've given good customer service, helped a colleague etc.

Finally the question of all..where I really wanted to shine but I didn't quite get to say everything I needed to...why do I want to be cabin crew for EK?

The interview I felt went very well. I tried to stay calm and relaxed, as well as listen to all the questions carefully, pause, answer and smile. I tried not to talk too much but it is also very easy to be critical after you walk away from the interview! We did finish with a few laughs and giggles about flying on the A380 with 500 pax, and it certainly lightened the mood!

At the end of the day..I don't know what the outcome is going to be. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and wait to find out...but I feel that with a little more maturity and experience behind me...I may be in with a very good chance

Thanks for all your support guys, it really does mean the world to me. You are all awesome!!!

And they all lived happily ever after.....THE END
