Cool The airlines and GNVQ

Hi guys!

This is my first post on PPRUNE so i'll just cut to the chase

Im 14 years old and currently taking my GCSE's. My one real ambition is to become a commercial airline pilot. I know that the majority of airlines mininmum requirements are 5 GCSE's- preferably english, maths and a science subject & 2 'A' levels- once again, preferably maths and physics.

At my school im doing GNVQ intermediate science not the usual double award. I was just wondering if the airlines would accept such a qualification in place of a GCSE. :

Thanks

Lewis
