Avalon in Victoria is paying !!!!! house money for ame's it's 32k australian pa as a contractor and 47k oz pa as lame contractor,and Qf is paying the same.That's 11k pounds stirling and 15k pounds stirling respectively.Not very easy to live on,in fact it's impossible as an ame on that wage with a family.The sun may shine down here but when you need 2 jobs to live,you may as well stay in rain old england.
