I know nothing of the flight school.
But I think you might be getting a little confused on the terminology.
A JAR & a JAA licence are actually the same thing.
JAA (Joint Aviation Authority) set rules which they call Joint Aviation Regulations (JAR). The licence with is issued by the JAA, under JAR's sometimes gets called a JAR licence, and sometime a JAA licence, depending on who's speaking!
