Apparently Melbourne Centre management noticed SLOPS and decided it appeared unprofessional (probably right), and a waypoint name change may be in the wind.
You can indeed nominate a waypoint name - see
here . The money is donated to an aviation charity (I think the initial lot was given to either to the RFDS or Angel Flight).
So get the thinking caps on - and keep it clean
