Avionics (EIR) LAMEs at Eastern will get as of 1st July $62500 plus an averaged penalty of between 38%(MEL) and 48%(MQL) with SYD falling somewhere in between due to different shift combinations.
This works out as between $86250 and $92500. This includes an average of all Pub Hols and DILs. SYD guys still get RDOs due to working over 38hrs per week. MEL & MQL work 10.85hrs for a 38hr per week average.
The $62500 includes 2 type payments as before the introduction of the graded wage structure it was succesfully argued in the IRC that the -300 was of sufficient difference to earn an extra payment.
When the -400 turns up, a LAME signing EIR on -100 thru -400 will go to $64500, or between $89010 and $95460 for what is nearly 3 types.
$100k for 2 sounds OK.
