To all concerned ,it appears there is some confusion here! The Jetstar EBA and the QANTAS EBA are two entirely seperate stand alone documents.Jetstar have offered avionics LAME's 100,100 dollars which is inclusive of all dil days etc whilst Avionics LAME's at Eastern get 90,000 with all dil days.They only work on one type dash 8 whilst we work on two.At present wage at jetstar is 90,100 for Avionics on both types a long,long way behind what other operators are paying.Management attitude"If you don't like it you can leave".Well we shall wait and see! The ECC committee wants people to vote on the original proposal and vote YES despite the fact that this same proposal was voted on a month ago with an overwhelming NO vote 66% againt it.What has changed,Only increased threats by company management that Newcastle will lose the heavy maintenance contract.It seems the majority of people who voted no have rolled over due to unveiled threats.A very sad day indead!
