Jetstar misses out
On the 24/8 2004 many engineers most members of the ALAEA signed a document requesting ALAEA involvement in their current EBA negotiation.To this date their has been no union involvement despite the complete breakdown of the EBA with the company putting it to a vote without hardly any negotiation with the staff.Needless to say it was not passed 66% against.Reading the latest E-Torque from the Union,Jetstar was not mentiioned once despite the e-torque mentioning a myriad of other companies.I would like to know why the union has allowed no engineer pushbacks and no pre-flights at jetstar and why the union does not want to help their financial membefrs
