I have just bought and installed the new Panasonic DMREH50 DVD recorder. It is a really good example of a recorder in my view.
It is advertised at £399.99 but I bought mine for £321.99 a really nice machine. Best you look on the Panasonic site to see what it offers.
Use Google and you will find.
EDIT: Meant to say that it has a 80gb HDD and as we speak I am making my first recording on it.
