I'd say they're waiting to be sure they're going to be sending the TSOs to the right fleet. THAT decision will depend on the May board meeting and will then impact the bidding for promotional slots which currently is scheduled to close on 12 May.
It's all 'stand by to stand by' at the moment!
My gut feeling says the pause will be very short and the months after that could be bigger than the normal 12. Of course, we'll run short of sim time in the not too distant future.
Finally, the current fuel prices make new airframes which burn heaps less fuel VERY attractive indeed!
