bmi seem to have made a dog's dinner of LBA-LCY from day one, so personally not surprised that they'd be looking to bin it. Too expensive and not promoted properly (either to public and corporate clients). Leeds - London is the busiest cross country rail route in the country and a successful air service into LCY probably needs to capture less than 1% of that market. I don't think bmi had a clue how to go about it.
