Strange, I know.
I get 2mbps for the same price as I was paying for 512mbps.
At the moment, it's £26.99/month with no restrictions whatever and 11 email addresses.... we all need 11.
There are cheaper, more restrictive packages available but I've never had any problems at all.
I am probably the only person I know to be " a happy BT user"
I think the BT price starts at £14.99 with huge restrictions. Read the small print carefully on any package. If you don't mind only downloading half a track or half a pic then it doesn't matter.
I use Vatsim for long periods and none of the restrictive packages suit long connection times. My broadband is connected 24/7 as I usually forget to log off.
With higher speed connections, be careful to ensure firewall and anti virus connected at all times.
My anti virus software crashed and I got 182 infected files within about 10 mins of "unprotected" connection.
