Make sure the wood that the blades etc are packaged in is treated before it leaves the States (due to strict quarantine rules in Australia)...
Also, budget around US$4500 to have the helicopter packed (B206) in a 40ft container and about another US$5500 for shipping plus local charges... Bax Global seems to be a good company.
Marine transit insurance is a good bet too.
