Hi all. I am currently a student at Nottingham Trent University studying Design Management in the Creative Industries. For one of my modules I have decided to design a career advice handbook for those, like myself, who are interested in a career as a helicopter pilot.
This handbook will start at the beginning explaing what is involved in acquiring the ppl (h) to getting the commercial license. It will also suggest ways of funding this.
There will also be a section on careers as a helicopter pilot, involving all the different careers one can go into once they have their license.
I also intend on puting together a CD ROM with links to addresses of training schools around the UK, and companies that offer helicopter pilot careers.
It would be very much appreciated if people reading this could offer any advice they can think of to help me out with this project. Especially how to apply for jobs as a heli pilot etc.
