A little off thread however, I read in the paper at the week-end what changed Blair’s mind about school dinners. After 2 years of saying they were not a priority and there was no extra money available to improve them he mysteriously finds an extra £230m 5 weeks before the election.
Turns out that Jamie Oliver was planning to stand against him in Sedgefield if he didn’t cough up. That would have been funny to watch…….someone young, popular, charismatic and honest……………..
