I live about 7 miles away from the airfield could this make a significance,
I am not local to Sywell so not that familiar with local variations but from what I do know of the area I suspect there will not be a lot of variation over 7 miles (I live north of the Downs and a mile can make a
lot of difference).
As far as rain goes, light rain with decent viz will possibly be OK but cloud and low viz often associated with anything more will probably rule things out. Good luck and enjoy it when it comes.
