Hello Mike, I purchased a GRE 282 on e-bay on 29th March too (£50) , spooky or what? My old Realistic Base scanner was on its last legs. I remember my first visit to the old spectators terrace at GLA in the 60s , there were air-band radios everywhere, I just had to have one and my da bought me a Volstatic Skyway that year for my Chrissy! Used to take it to school with me in Paisley , had it confiscated by the head on numerous occasions!
