But someone still has to BUY them, even if an airline leases them. So, I guess that will be the big lessors in the industry. But how do the lessors finance the acquisition, and why do they feel they can sustain the risk....?
The problem with the likely future A380 fleet looks like it is going to be too dependent on Emirates. If anything were to happen to Emirates, or even if it had to scale back operations in future years due to over-hasty expansion, the world might be awash with used A380s.
