The rumour going around here in Dubai, is for fifteen of these babies, to confirm the outstanding 340-600 order (8) and to be the launch customer for the A350. There is also talk about 15 777LR, I do not know though what will actualy happen, and no one knows until the Paris airshow. Do not forget though that the initial 777s arrived in 97, and the first 330s in 98, so they will be replacing lots of planes aswell. What is realy important though is not how many airplanes will be coming this way, but who will fly them with the T&Cs they are offering, and under what FTLs and work practices....
Flying new shiny kit is great, but does not put money in the bank, nor does it give us great retirement prospects...
