Knowing that engine out resides in a suburb just north of Albion Park (and well inland from the coast) there was no doubt another serious shark sighting in Dapto Pool and the manoeuvres described would have been a serious attempt at warning the swimming public of the immenent danger they were in.
Truth is, those yahoos wouldn't know a shark if it was sitting next to them logging co-pilot time.
On a similar subject, heard a good yarn only 2 days ago. Appears the increase in shark sightings on the south coast is directly proportional to the (depleted) bank balance of the Aerial Patrol at any given time.
Formula is: NO SHARKS - NO MONEY!
Remedy : MAKE UP SOME SHARKS - simple really
