The advantage of old fashioned bonding is that should the operator cease trading, the bond repayment arrangement is likely to end.
With the monthly bank repayment scheme, the loan is with the pilot, and needs to be repaid whether or not the company ceases operations.
I doubt whether a separate "bank trust account" or some similar arrangement would be set up by the company.
They never think that going bust will happen ??!!
