Heard via a reliable source that this is pretty much true if not even slightly short of the requirement.
Quite a few low-hrs pilots who have got past the interview have subsequently failed the rating hence they've bump up the requirements to minimise this.
Last I heard (about 6 months ago) was minimum 1500 Turbine, otherwise expect your CV to be filed via the shredder.......
