How else can people considering joining any airline make a decision? The basic earnings listed on the website of £9,000 would put any one of joining the industry.
I for one have no problem with what BA crews earn, if they can achieve this allowances and the airline still earns money more power to them. Its in all our interests for everyone to achieve the best possible renumeration.
