To Join CX or NOT?
A Large life decision looms......Second interview time is looming, and after reading all the posts for the last month,I'm giving serious thought to flagging the CX option away! At least until the company has resolved the major problems it has in front of it! From an outsiders point of view these seem to be (in no particular order):
-Very Very low crew morale
-absolutely no faith in the management from Aircrew
-Very little respect for the workers from management
-A very short sighted, profit orientated management plan ( IF any )
Sure every company I've worked for has it's problems, but most of these are deeply rooted in the culture of the leadership of the company, and possibly it's ownership.They will not be easily solved.
The problem is therefore, wether to stay in a job I enjoy, working with people who are great to work with, and are generally happy in their work, although flying smaller A/c for a lot less money, OR , and I am well aware it is far from in the bag, come to CX !
