And as has been reported in another thread, Euromanx will inaugurate a route to Galway, a destination never been served from LCY before on a scheduled basis. This is the official press release:

"London City Airport is delighted to announce the launch of a new EuroManx service to Galway. Flights start Monday 18 April 2005.

There will be two flights daily Monday to Friday flights depart London City Airport at 09:45 and 20:15, with one flight on Sunday departing 19:50. An Avro RJ70 four engine “Whisper Jet” with a seating capacity of 82 will be used to operate the new service.

The Galway route has been developed with the business traveller in mind, offering the choice to fly directly from the heart of Galway to the heart of London in just over an hour. The schedule allows business travellers to fly direct avoiding an overnight stay."
