....so, a 737 Captain earns the same salary as one of our A-scale B747-400 Captains....! Good grief, when are we going to force this management to compensate us based on the pay and benefits that are represented by airlines in the countries from where we originate from? We are being scr-wed out of our careers and rightful earnings. What a joke this airline is. How many of us think we are worth more....? Just wondering. When you have answered that question, perhaps we can all resolve to give the AOA a mandate to proceed with industrial action, up to and inlcuding the dreaded 'S' word. Nothing short of serious and committed action will result in a proper contract and working conditions. Just ask yourselves if you are willing to waste your whole career as a 'low rent' pilot, or are you worth the same as the 15000 AA pilots will shortly be earning (not to mention the lucrative and guaranteed pension benefits..!). Let's wake up people, because we are being managed by people who are happy to see you struggle for the next 25 years of your career, and then have less than a pot to p-ss in when you retire. Let's take back control of our lives from these pathetic management cretins. Remember, if you risk nothing, stand for nothing, push for nothing....that is exactly what you will get out of your career.
