I'd suggest that the type you learn on makes very little difference. In some ways, a more exotic type will make for a more interesting job interview! What counts is what, how and where you are taught. And NEVER forget that all Western types (B737, A320 etc...) are designed to be flown by the AVERAGE pilot in the worst of circumstances. I'd suggest that you like me, are pretty close to AVERAGE, like the rest of the people we meet. Therefore, flying these things will be quite straight forward.
