I used to drink with that copper in POM - name of Mike Thomas - he was a Supt at that time. He made recordings of Little Red Hiding Hood and a few others too.
I found out a few years after Mike died that he was the brother of my Aunt in UK. Mike's wife and daughter live in BNE.
Remember the St. George family coming through Lae many a time.
