Just to dampen your drooling, airparks are not hard to find in the US, and altho' some are outwith most of our price ranges, such as Leeward Air Ranch (
http://leewardairranch.com/) I have definitely seen some more affordable ones. A 2650' runway at 4000' elevation is going to severly restrict the visitor numbers, especially in the summer time.
Its nice to speculate tho'...
