Oh how times have changed. It wasn't all that long ago that BA were putting comments in their pilot ad's (and insinuating) along the lines of "you will be highly self motivated and driven to push yourself to a near nervous breakdown". Oh how the mighty now have to eat humble pie, or maybe it is just that HR have finally received the feedback that the old type of BS is now transparent and it is time to try a new approach, "let's get chummy", how's that for buzz speak jargon ?
The job isn't what it once was and there are a lot of us out there who are "highly motivated" and "driven" to go and do something rather more fulfilling than some of this cr@p.
IMHO - but what do I know, I'm just a dog, and the British won't even let me hunt foxes anymore. Crazy world.
