Sunshine breaks from Germany (as a Brit)

During the course of this year I am going to have to spend about 4 x 3-week trips in Frankfurt on business. Much as I like Germany, at this time of the year it is COLD!! So it occurred to me that Germany must have last minute sunshine-weekend breaks the same as the UK does. Does anyone have experience of these? How easy it is to book? I have gone to a couple of websites (lastminute etc) but they all presume I am departing from the UK and of course my start-point will be Frankfurt! Any suggestions, websites or links for sensible online booking would be greatly welcomed!!
