I applied to gulf air for the same position towards the end of last year, application was approved ie: met their requirements. Recieved an e- mail from gulf air early this year saying that they have stopped recruitment for 320 fleet for the forseeable future and that my application is also on hold. Didn't give a reason why.
Luckily found something better since then so I am not that bothered.
