I was out flying yesterday monitoring the prescribed Radar freq. when a request for aircraft at 'notional loc' to identify and state intentions, was made.
Response was "Taipan 4 'here' at 'alt' going 'there"
ATC " Ok eer whats your abbrevation for Taipan 4"
Brief silence ... then
"Tango, Alpha, India, Papa, Alpha, November, Four"
